Patricia Levesque, Executive Director of the Foundation for Florida’s Future, released the following statement congratulating Dr. Henry Mack on his appointment as Florida’s Commissioner of Education:

During his tenure as Senior Chancellor, Dr. Mack demonstrated a strong commitment to student success, helping establish Florida as a model for quality post-secondary education and workforce training.

Florida has led the nation in education before, but much work remains to ensure every student in the Sunshine State can succeed in reading and math.
